FCIP Hosts Future Cities Workshop to Strengthen Sustainable Infrastructure

The Future Cities Infrastructure Programme (FCIP), a central initiative under Melaju, supports Indonesia in addressing the delivery gap by providing project preparation and technical assistance to unlock funding and financing for infrastructure projects.
Aligned with Indonesia’s priority sectors, FCIP focuses on bus rapid transit, solid waste management, and flood resilience.
Building on these engagements, FCIP will host the Future Cities Workshop on 7 October 2025 at the Morrissey Hotel, Kebon Sirih, Jakarta. The workshop will bring together officials from Bappenas and Bappeda representatives from around 20 cities to explore how FCIP can support them in preparing investment-ready projects, understanding the financing landscape, and identifying potential funding options.
The workshop aims to encourage collaboration and practical discussions to advance climate action and promote sustainable urban infrastructure across Indonesia.
