Climate Action Support

FCIP provides technical assistance for climate-positive infrastructure projects, helping Indonesia achieve its climate goals.

Enabling City-Level Investment

Recognising cities’ major role in climate and environmental impacts, FCIP supports the development of green urban infrastructure that can attract financing at the city level.

Programmes & Projects

Priority Sectors for Year 2 (June 2025 - July 2026)

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) - Bali, Pekanbaru

Providing project preparation support and deepening city relationships for projects and developing a BRT toolkit with the Ministry of Transportation to be distributed to cities across Indonesia.

Solid Waste Management (SWM) - Cilegon

Supporting urban landfill management and the financing of waste processing and waste-to-energy facilities.

Flood Resilience - Surabaya

Using Land Value Capture (LVC) as a mechanism to contribute to the funding of flood interventions (e.g. urban drainage, nature-based solutions in embankments).

GEDSI - Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion

GEDSI is mainstreamed across all priority sectors using GEDSI Lens Toolkit to ensure all interventions are responsive and inclusive to the needs of vulnerable and underrepresented groups from the earliest stage of project conception.
